The Cozadd Rotary Foundation is the funding arm of the Belleville Rotary Club. Originally, the Belleville Rotary Club Foundation was managed by the Rotary Club Board of Directors. In December 1987, fund management was put under professional fund managers with National Bank of Detroit (now BankOne). Subsequently, the name of the Foundation was changed to the Charles B. Cozadd Rotary Foundation as a subsidiary of the Belleville Rotary Club (in honor of Charles Cozadd, a charter member of the Rotary Club and the impetus behind the creation of the Foundation).

The 7-member Board of Directors is made up of four Belleville Rotarians and three non-Rotarians of good standing in the community. They are elected by the Belleville Rotary Club on staggered threeyear terms in June of each year. Fund requests are received for consideration each March and September. No individuals or individual projects are funded by the Foundation, and all funded projects have a communitywide benefit.
