At the present time, the Belleville Rotary Club is actively engaged in preserving the history of the greater Belleville area by microfilming over 100 years of the area newspapers, which will be available for community use through the Fred C. Fischer Library. This project’s final cost is unknown at this time but will be in the thousands of dollars.
